We teach salsa and bachata dance every Friday night, perfect for beginning and intermediates. There is no partner or experience required. Just arrive by 8p and you can take multiple beginning and intermediate lessons!
Salsa and bachata dance lessons are followed by the Bay Area’s largest latin dance club night, with salsa dance and bachata dance in two separate rooms (and a third room and live music monthly). There are always hundreds upon hundreds of dancers! It’s very fun, very social, and we’re a highlife and foundation of the Bay Area nightlife scene for the past 30 years (8 years at this location).
Yes! Tickets are ALWAYS available at the door (with credit card), but to save time and money, get your tickets via our online websites (like this one) or Eventbrite!
Generally, the earlier you get your ticket before the event, the cheaper it will be (ie Early Bird).
Yes! Very Beginner Friends Salsa Dance Lessons and Bachata Dance Lessons. This IS the place to learn how to dance. Step by step, in a massive nightclub, with tons of people to practice with.
The two most asked questions are about partner and experience! No, you do not need a partner to attend our classes. We rotate partners frequently during the lessons to ensure everyone has a chance to practice with many people. We will guide you from your very first steps, no experience is required!
We are a salsa and bachata dance nightclub, with two separate rooms, each offering dance lsssons and nightclub dancing. We specialize in salsa and bachata (and ocassionally Kizomba and Zouk).
Yes, we are a nightclub, and required you to be 21+ and with ID. There are no exceptions. We need actual valid ID.
You never *need* to get tickets in advance. There are alway tickets available at the door. However, you can save money by buying tickets in advance (on eventbrite – links on this website) You can always drop in for a class too (before the club).
Just contact us! We have a deal for you, and your friends, and we DO allow cakes to be brought in (and if large enough, even a location by the bar for your special event).
While we do not do “birthday dances” per se, you can always request your favorite song from the DJ!
Yes! We work with plenty of large and small companies to provide a great night out for your employees, or a great location to throw your company event.
There’s simply no larger crowd, bettter dance floor, massive sound system, and amazing performance space anywhere in the Bay Area, than Dance Fridays. Yes! We’d love to have you – just contact us to schedule (practice teams, performance teams, etc …).
